OSLO Elevators & Components: Service Above All

By 9 octubre, 2024Destacado

Esteban López and Daniel Guerriero put all their expertise into elevator components distribution and maintenance reached through working a long time in the field to create OSLO  Elevators and Components on  August 3.

OSLO is not in this case the name of the capital of Norway, but Esteban’s tribute to his father Osvaldo López, the veteran owner of the former QLD, the company in which he learned from a very young age everything he knows about the manufacture and design of elevators that are now sold in OSLO.

Daniel Guerriero left his company in August of this year after 29 years of activity, while Esteban López worked lately in an important company in the trade, where he was in charge of everything manufactured there.

OSLO is a tribute but it is also a turning point. The old generation has left and the place has been taken by these younger but equally expert entrepreneurs, who enter the market with the idea of providing service, of helping: It is about being ready to solve a problem, answer a query, and lend a hand to get the client out of trouble.

“One of the advantages we have, because I have experienced it first hand, is knowing what a lift operator suffers,” says Daniel Guerriero.

“We offer to help our clients in emergencies. If their lock or ignition is broken and they are having trouble solving a problem in the building, they send us a photo, call us on the phone and they don’t have to come here, we send them the replacement part on a motorbike, they fix the problem and that’s it,” explains Esteban López.

SPARE PARTS AND COMPONENTS

“We sell almost all the products in the industry. All the manufacturing companies opened their doors to us, we sell all the brands. We are very grateful to all the suppliers.

The company has its own Instagram, OSLO already has its website www.osloascensores.com.ar and we are in touch with many of our clients and acquaintances.

ELEVATOR MANUFACTURING

Esteban López, an automotive technician, says “I have been in an elevator factory since I was born, and I have been working in the industry for 21 years.”

He learned the trade with his father’s company, QLD, and worked with him manufacturing for 10 years before quickly becoming production manager. He is proficient in welding, bending, punching, and cutting. OSLO manufactures hydraulic and conventional chassis, ramps, door frames and leaves, stair lift platforms, and the complete cabin, and car lifts. In short, they deal with all metal carpentry and ironwork.

OSLO POLICY

Esteban is emphatic on the issue of quality: “We will always maintain quality, I want to be recognized because I sell a good product, not because I am cheap”.

There are different qualities of products in the market, and everyone in the industry knows each other, the issue is not putting the user’s life at risk: A better or worse contactor may last more or less time, but it does not put the user at risk, there are other elements that do.
