17 – 20 October 2023 I Augsburg Trade Fair Centre I Germany
Final spurt: interlift 2023 is already 47% ahead of the previous event in terms of occupied floor space / Successful interlift presentations at ANICA and ANACAM / Lift Match – the digital supplement to the trade fair / Top topics at the VFA-interlift Forum
Augsburg – The pre-event is long behind them: A good quarter before the trade fair, the interlift 2023 is already half the size it was in 2022! And it will definitely grow even further, the project management is convinced of this on the basis of current talks with interested lift companies. Also in the final planning phase are the major joint participations from China, Italy and India. At the start of the fair, interlift organiser AFAG expects over 500 exhibitors to completely fill the halls.
Successful promotion tour in Italy
The presentations of the interlift team at the two events of the Italian associations ANICA and ANACAM can be regarded as extremely successful. Following these events in May and June, a whole series of component manufacturers decided to exhibit at the interlift. More than 80 Italian exhibitors, including 6 new ones, are currently represented at the largest and most international platform of the lift industry – more than at any other lift fair.
More international than any other lift fair
For many years now the interlift has been by far the most international trade fair in the industry. And no other fair has such a high proportion of top decision-makers from all over the world: 86% of the visitors are involved in investment decisions in their companies.
31 nations present their innovations in Augsburg, with Italy making up the strongest contingent with 27% of the foreign exhibitors. This is followed by Turkey with 23%, Spain (12%), Greece (4%), and fifth place is shared by Switzerland and Austria with 3% each. 9% of the exhibitors are taking part in the interlift for the first time.
Lift Match – the digital supplement to the interlift
The digital tool “Lift Match – by interlift Augsburg” celebrated its premiere in April last year. Visitors who were unable to visit the interlift due to the travel restrictions during the Corona pandemic were given digital access to the innovations at the trade fair. Exhibitors were also able to make contact with their customers and exchange ideas with them “live”. This promising prelude is now being followed by a sequel – for prevented visitors to the fair a solution that is as efficient as it is convenient.
Many roads lead to Augsburg
The transfer of guests from all over the world to the interlift 2023 in Augsburg is also convenient. The organiser has set up a convenient shuttle bus service for guests arriving via Munich Airport, and another shuttle bus route starts near Munich Central Station.
Visitors to the interlift who arrive by car can use the large car park at the nearby WWK Arena, from where shuttle buses will take guests to the trade fair in just a few minutes.
Final spurt: trade fair participation for those who decide at short notice and free guest tickets
It is not too late to participate in the interlift – the project management can still offer some space in attractive locations. The organiser AFAG can also offer exhibitors without their own stand construction an ideal solution with comfortable complete stands. Even with low budgets, effective trade fair participations are definitely possible in this way. Of course, it is also clear that the later this decision is made, the smaller the selection options are among the remaining spaces.
Exhibitors can also use free guest tickets for the interlift 2023. In this way, any number of customers can be invited without burdening the trade fair budget.
VFA Forum interlift ’23: the programme is set
The VFA Forum interlift ’23, which accompanies the trade fair, will once again be the hub for information on all aspects of lift technology with over 40 specialist lectures from Germany and abroad. The compilation of the programme from almost 100 lecture submissions once again presented the technical committee with an enjoyable task. As always, it was regrettable that the number of lecture slots only allowed for a limited selection.
The programme will be published around mid-August following the notifications to speakers which are currently underway.
