Interlift 2023 continues to grow: space occupied already 40% above previous event / Increased interest from Mediterranean countries / Top service for exhibitors: free visit to the trade fair for customers
Augsburg – The interlift 2023 continues to grow: already six months before the start the exhibitors who have registered so far occupy a good 40% more space than last time. At the start of the fair, interlift organiser AFAG expects around 500 exhibitors to completely fill the available halls.
The interest of the Mediterranean countries Italy, Spain and Greece is conspicuously high – a good fifth more exhibitors than in 2022 will come from these three countries. And also in 2023 numerous component manufacturers will present their innovations for the first time in Augsburg: 35 companies from 11 countries have already announced this.
With 19%, Italy currently leads the top 5 international participations, followed by Turkey with 15%, Spain (8%) and Switzerland and Austria with 2% each. For the next few weeks, however, extensive joint participations from China, Italy or India have been announced, and these will probably change the ranking once again.
Effective trade fair participation for those who decide at short notice and free guest tickets
Exhibitors at the interlift 2023 will be supported by the organiser AFAG with many individual services. Particularly recommended is the complete stand, the ideal solution for companies who decide to participate in the fair at short notice or who are aiming for effective participation despite a smaller budget. The invitation of customers is also decisive for the success of the trade fair. Exhibitors can also invite as many of their customers as they wish to the interlift 2023 – the guest tickets will not be invoiced! A significant relief for the trade fair budget! “Lift-CityAugsburg” – ideally equipped for guests from all over the world
In 2019, Bavaria’s third-largest city had just 4,500 hotel beds available. But a lot has happened since then: in 2023, around 6,800 beds will be available in Augsburg alone, with the neighbouring districts of Augsburg Land and Aichach-Friedberg offering a further 4,700. This massive increase will significantly ease the accommodation situation.
The transfer of guests from all over the world to the interlift 2023 in Augsburg will also be comfortable. The organiser has set up a comfortable shuttle bus service for guests arriving via Munich Airport, and another shuttle bus line will start near Munich Central Station.
Visitors to the interlift who arrive by car can use the large car park at the nearby WWK Arena, from where shuttle buses will take guests comfortably to the trade fair in just a few minutes.
International knowledge platform: VFA Forum interlift ’23
An overwhelming variety of presentation submissions has already reached the VFA-Interlift e.V.. The selection committee now has the difficult task of selecting approx. 45 presentations for the Forum from the many highly interesting proposals. A multi-faceted, exciting programme on the topics of international markets, digitalisation, trends and future technologies as well as sustainability is already emerging, supplemented by specialist contributions on national, European and international standardisation as well as presentations of new products and services. Notifications of proposal acceptance and, if applicable, placement of the presentation will be sent out by mid-June ’23.
