The Business Elevator Maintainers and Related Chamber (CECAF), held its annual dinner last November 25, celebrating an arduous year of fruitful work.
Under the presidency of Guillermo López and the vice-presidency of Candela Trimarchi, the CECAF has carried out during the year 2021 a large number of actions aimed, as always, at the hierarchization of the profession. “I have to create a company”, was the thought that Guillermo López had the day he became a freelance professional, more than 30 years ago, to start his own path, and they were the first words he dedicated to those present on the night of November 25. Changing the mentality, putting on long pants, and knowing how to delegate, were what he listed below to be able to achieve it. That is why at CECAF throughout the year business training courses have been given oriented to this idea of the growth of each member of the Chamber as a professional.
The other great objective of the institution is to reach the end-user of the elevator to complete the circuit of responsibility and professional growth. Elevator TV Stories is the program that is broadcast on Saturdays at 2:30 p.m. on Cablevisión’s Metro channel where, among the guests specializing in the topic of Vertical Transportation and the driver Félix Taylor, it is possible to raise awareness about the importance of having the best maintenance and upkeep service to keep the elevator park in Buenos Aires safe for its users. In this way, television has joined graphics to further strengthen the voice of the union that grows in strength, number, and professionalism every day.
